FOUNDBOARDS WARRANTY

Found Boards provides 90 day warranty against peeling, de-lamination and/or manufacturers workmanship from the date of purchase.

Creases are not covered by warranty under no circumstances.

Found boards has the right to examine the bodyboard and make all final decisions on weather the board was deemed misused when applying for your warranty claim.

The warranty claim will not be considered for:

  •  Misuse and damage on behalf of the owner /rider
  • Not handled in accordance with board care
  • Modifying the board in anyway.

For any issues regarding warranty the owner must contact place of purchase. 

FOUND ABSOLUTE WARRANTY

Found Absolute customs warranties all bodyboards purchased at full price for a period of 3 months (90 days) from the date of purchase. The warranty protects from peeling and de-lamination due to the manufacturers workmanship for a period of 3 months (90 days) from the date of purchase.

  • Creases on any part of the board are not covered by warranty.
  • Snapped or stringers popped through the deck are not covered by warranty.
  • Damage caused by other bodyboarding related products while using your Found Absolute custom, including leashes/fins are not covered by warranty.

For any issues regarding warranty the owner must contact Found Boards.

If you have requested that Found Absolute plug your board then this will void any return claim unless you have received the wrong board or your board is deemed to be faulty.

How to submit your warranty claim?

 Boards purchased in stores stocking Found Boards

To submit your warranty claim you will need to have your original tax invoice from place of purchase and after checking that your claim is in compliance with the Found Boards warranty, take your board to the shop that it was purchased from.

For boards purchased on Foundboards.com.

Please contact Found Boards via email to inform of us of your intention to claim under our warranty and include details of the problem, a phone number to contact you on and your email address.  You will then need to send the board back to FoundBoards at your own cost if Found Boards accept your claim we will then compensate the cost of the postage.

Examination of faulty parts will be fully investigated.

Any Found Boards/products bought at a discounted or reduced price from Foundboards.com or any other foundboards stockist will have no warranty.

OTHER

The sport of body boarding is inherently dangerous as is considered like many board water sports an inherently dangerous activity that could give rise to serious injury or death.  The sport of bodyboarding requires skill and the exercise of caution at all times.  Stunts and extreme performances on body boards are performed by experienced and competent individuals and are done with a great deal of personal risk but are done so after training and individual assessment of the inherent danger, risk and potential deadly consequences.  Children must always be supervised properly whilst using a bodyboard.  By purchasing this body board, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that Found Boards, its heirs, successors and assigns as well as its distributors assume no liability whatsoever in respect of any injury or any liability arising there from, event or otherwise arising by way of accident, misuse, negligence or otherwise.  The purchaser by purchasing this board assumes all liability arising from its use.  Found Boards do not endorse promote or encourage or represent the use of the body board for any dangerous use of the board.
